Hala Taha is the host to the Young and Profiting Podcast. She interview some of the brightest minds in the world with their main mission being to turn their guest’s wisdom into actionable advice. They are a top 10 Self-Improvement and How To Podcast on Apple Podcasts in US, Canada, Australia, UK and more.

Hala herself started her career at WQHT Hot97 as the production assistant for Angie Martinez, then created “The Sorority of Hip Hop” - and an entertainment news, fashion and music blog that gained massive success. And now she works at Disney Streaming Services! Her days are with Disney and her nights and lunchbreaks are dedicated to her podcast!

Interviewing Hala was such a fun experience for me personally. She is brimming with field experience and gives impeccable advice and directional pointers when she was developing her early career. One thing that had me absolutely floored was the fact that she dedicated almost all of her time to her personal development or her work. No slacking here! If you’re looking for an ambitious mentor, I’d like to present you to Hala Taha.

And for good reason— we're working longer hours, taking on second jobs and side hustles, dealing with more competitive environments, glued to screens and phones that zap our mental energy, caring for small children and the list of stressful triggers goes on and on.

In fact, we millennials wear our lack of sleep as a badge of honor. And since sleep deprivation is linked to Alzheimer's, cardiovascular disease, stroke and diabetes, we have created a real health crisis for ourselves! To make matters worse, poor sleep impacts us mentally; it reduces our productivity, decreases collaboration, prevents us from making good decisions and even limits our capacity for empathy and humor.

Needless to say, it's time we millennials unlocked the power of sleep! To do this, we've invited Dr. Daniel Gartenberg on the show, a leading sleep scientist who has dedicated the past 10 years helping people get a better night’s rest through his sleep coaching consultancy and innovative  apps.

Tune in to learn the function of sleep, how much and how often we should sleep, tips to get

Got junk?

Today on the show we’re chatting with Brian Scudamore, a serial entrepreneur and author, Brian Scudamore has always taken the road less travelled. At just 19 years old, he pioneered the industry of professional junk removal with 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, turning a chore people avoid into an exceptional customer service experience. Then he scaled that success into two more home-service brands, WOW 1 DAY PAINTING and Shack Shine

Brian learned the ins and outs of business by running his own, and believes that anyone with a fire in their gut and a vision for doing something incredible with their future can do the same. His philosophy, WTF (Willing To Fail), stems from his belief in the power of dreaming big, taking risks, and learning from mistakes

Through franchising, he’s giving thousands of aspiring entrepreneurs the chance to live their dreams of business ownership. Find his book, WTF?! (Willing to Fail): How Failure Can Be Your Key to Success, at www.mywtfbook.com.

Tune into this episode to find out how Brian scaled 1-800-Got Junk from a $700 truck to a business that generates hundreds of millions each year and operates in every major metropolitan city in the US. Get an understanding of how you can tell if a business is ripe for franchising and learn Brian’s tips for hiring and maintaining a great company culture.
